Crunchyroll is an American entertainment company founded on May 14, 2006 by Kun Gao, James Lin, Brandon Ooi, and also Vu Nguyen. The company is a major distributor of East Asian media, primarily anime, and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. Crunchyroll currently licenses the first season of Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. The series was added to Crunchyroll on February 22, 2018.
The series was formerly licensed by Funimation until the two companies merged in the year 2022. On April 2, 2024, Funimation shut down, which gave the license of the series to Crunchyroll.
