Daten City High School

Daten City High School is the main high school of Daten City, and an important setting in Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. The school is a parody of a stereotypical American high school, complete with a hierarchy of students and a sports team named the Barby Dolls. It makes its first appearance in "The Turmoil of the Beehive".

The school is a large gray building with red rooftops. From above, the school is shaped like a cross.

Background[]

Daten City High School was first featured in "The Turmoil of the Beehive", right after the principal consulted the Anarchy sisters for assistance. Barby, a beautiful girl who was later revealed to be a Ghost, was the high school's Queen Bee. Shortly after arriving, Panty and Stocking were named the new queens of Daten City High School though their titles did not last.

Daten City High School is also where the duo went for the Lingerie Run party in "High School Nudical". However, oddly enough, on the poster advertising the party, the school was referred to as Daten High School, implying that the high school's full name is Daten City High School.

Daten City High School was also the main setting of "Les Diaboliques". In the episode, Panty and Stocking lose their status as queens of the school to the Daemon sisters, Scanty and Kneesocks. Thanks to Loser Ghost, however, Panty and Stocking discover that the Daemon sisters created a Ghost factory beneath the school. Afterward, Panty and Stocking dueled against Scanty and Kneesocks, destroying the school in the process.

Bathroom[]

The bathrooms are where students dispose of their waste. As is with many schools, the bathrooms in Daten City High School are separated by gender. The male bathroom contains urinals, while the female bathroom contains stalls.

In "Les Diaboliques", Panty and Stocking are seen sitting in bathroom stalls while talking about the lack of Heaven Coins that they're earning. They then encounter Loser Ghost and try killing her, but the Ghost escapes and splashes water on the Anarchy sisters. This angers them and they begin fighting the Ghost. Later in the episode, Brief pops up from a urinal and runs away from the Ghosts. Meanwhile, Panty and Scanty duel in the female bathroom, where they shoot at and physically attack each other.

Cafeteria[]

The cafeteria is where students eat meals. It is first featured in "Les Diaboliques", where Panty and Stocking lament about the taste of the new foods. Scanty and Kneesocks then arrive at the cafeteria, where they criticize the Anarchy sisters until they eventually snap and yell at the Daemon sisters, challenging them to a popularity contest. However, Scanty and Kneesocks win by an overwhelming amount and they send Panty and Stocking falling down two holes.

Ghost factory[]

The Ghost factory is located beneath the school. It is where Scanty and Kneesocks created No-Brain Ghosts, which weren't worth any Heaven Coins. The factory is powered by the Ghoststone, which had been collecting human evil for thousands of years in order to create Ghosts.

In "Les Diaboliques", Panty, Stocking, Brief, and Loser Ghost travel down to the factory. While there, Panty and Stocking are ordered by Garterbelt to destroy the place. They then encounter Scanty and Kneesocks, who transform their lingerie into weapons along with the Anarchy sisters. Loser Ghost decides to join Scanty and Kneesocks after learning that they are demons, but Kneesocks kills Loser Ghost with her scythe, causing her to turn into a bigger Ghost. Panty and Stocking kill her and begin their battle against Scanty and Kneesocks after Fastener repeatedly kicked Chuck, who swallowed the Ghoststone.

Gymnasium[]

The gymnasium is where sports such as cheerleading and baton twirling are practiced. In "The Turmoil of the Beehive", Barby practices cheerleading with her group of cheerleaders, but is overshadowed by Panty, who had sex with several boys in the gym. Later on, Barby is again overshadowed by Stocking, whose twirling skills cause Barby's clothes to rip off.

Loser class[]

The loser class, or losers' lair, is a classroom located in the basement of the school. It is where the losers and geeks of the school are sent to learn. The room is in extremely poor condition, as it is filled with rats and a broken window, and toilets are used as desks.

In "Les Diaboliques", Panty and Stocking were sent to the classroom after losing a popularity contest to Scanty and Kneesocks. Brief greeted the Anarchy sisters and explained the classroom to them when Loser Ghost suddenly appeared from in between Panty's legs. She then explained that she would share information about the Daemon sisters' hideout to Panty and Stocking if they didn't kill them. Afterward, Loser Ghost sent Panty, Stocking, and Brief down a sewer.

Running track[]

The running track is where students play track and field. It is located behind the school and makes its first major appearance in "High School Nudical", where the students party around before the beginning of the Lingerie Run.

Science classroom[]

The science classroom is where students conduct science experiments. In "The Turmoil of the Beehive", Panty and Stocking try to do an experiment when Barby swaps out Panty's beaker of water with a beaker of poisonous liquid. Panty then sneezes and the liquid splashes onto Brief, causing him to gush in the mouth as Panty and Stocking laugh at him.

Sex education classroom[]

The sex education classroom is where students learn about human sexuality. In "The Turmoil of the Beehive", the teacher tells the class that they could die if they ever have sex. In the back of the class, Panty looks at a figure of herself when the teacher passes a condom to her. Panty assumes that it's gum and blows a bubble with it in her mouth. Suddenly, Brief arrives and frantically tells Panty and Stocking that his friends were assaulted.

Stadium[]

The stadium is where sports games are held. In "The Turmoil of the Beehive", Brief tries to find the Ghost with his PKE Meter in the stadium with Panty and Stocking when they encounter Barby and her cheerleading squad. It is then revealed that Barby was the Ghost, and so Panty and Stocking fought off the mind-controlled football players and eventually killed Barby. Afterward, Panty had sex with several football players in the stadium.
