Are you fucking kidding me?! Since when were we "family"?! All you want is for us to do your damage control for you!

"Heaven Wars Episode 1 - The Family Menace" (天国戦争 エピソード1 - 家族の脅威, Tengoku Sensō Episōdo 1 - Kazoku No Kyōi) is the twenty-eighth episode of New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT and the fifty-sixth overall episode of the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt series. It first aired on September 25, 2025.
Chuck is struck by lightning on the front yard and spits out a message reading "God". Reuniting everyone in the chapel, Garterbelt announces that the message was sent from Linière, the King of Heaven, demanding that Panty and Stocking temporarily return to Heaven. Brief, upon learning this, initially gets excited with the idea of meeting God personally. His celebratory mood is quickly toned down when Stocking says she and Panty will have to spend New Year's Day in Heaven, but returns after Panty decides to include Brief, Garterbelt, Scanty, and Kneesocks in their trip to Heaven.
The roadway to Heaven.
On their day of departure, Garterbelt, Scanty, and Kneesocks task Chuck and Fastener with looking after the church in their absence. In the front yard, while Panty and Stocking plan not to take any luggage with them, Garterbelt brings a suitcase filled with bribes to get on Linière's good side. They use Heaven's Bus to drive up to Heaven. During their trip, Brief quietly plots to show Panty how cool he truly is before confessing his love to her at Lingerie Land.
At Heaven's Border, the attendant asks for the group's passports. Panty attempts to use her relation to Linière to get in, without success. Polyester and Polyurethane appear and grant them access into Heaven, as decreed by Ramie.
Garterbelt, Scanty and Kneesocks are stopped at the entrance gate by the guards, but are also allowed access after Panty and Stocking confirm their affiliation with them. However, when Brief is stopped by the guards, Panty says he's "just a Geek Boy", thus denying him entry into Heaven. This leaves Brief feeling deeply betrayed by Panty.
Photos of Linière and Silk's affairs.
In Heaven's palace, the group is greeted by Linière and his wife, Silk — with Linière briefly mistaking his daughters for the Daemon sisters.
Linière and Silk reveal that they invited Panty and Stocking into Heaven because their swinging practices had tarnished their reputations, much to Panty's amusement. Linière then explains that their scandals depleted his approval rating to 0.1% and fears that a coup d'état could happen at any moment; therefore, he planned to abdicate the Heavenly Throne to Panty and Stocking.
Panty and Stocking, however, are outraged by Linière and Silk's plan and decide to leave before being stopped by Ramie and his sons. They trap Garterbelt, Scanty and Kneesocks in ice boxes and start a coup against Linière, using the presence of Scanty and Kneesocks in Heaven as proof that Linière's side of the family is unsalvageable. Ramie claims he will become the next King of Heaven to bring order back.
Linière and Silk laugh at the idea of Ramie becoming king; however, by recording Linière's quote "Alright, alright already!", Ramie was placed next on the line of succession and given the crown. Now the King of Gods, Ramie traps Lenière and Silk in iron maiden-like devices, turning them into stone.
Brief and Chuck before embarking on their journey to Heaven.
Meanwhile, Brief - still brooding over what Panty said about him - overhears the guards talking about Linière's shady practices and yells in shock; this attracts the guards' attention. Brief tries to run away, but falls down to Earth. He arrives at the front door of Gunsmith Bitch's house and frantically barges in.
In the Pants Dimension, Brief reveals Panty and Stocking's current dilemma to Gunsmith Bitch and worries that he can do nothing to help them. Gunsmith Bitch raises Brief's spirits by calculating that his chances of Panty falling in love with him will go up 0.000000000001% if he becomes her hero.
She gives him a potion that will shut all his vital signals for 24 hours, allowing him to enter Heaven in that duration. Out of precaution, she brings Chuck with him. Both drink the potions and pass away.
Back in Heaven, Ramie uses his electric guitar and an amplifier to kill Lenière and Silk and proclaims that all gods shall be as one, while Panty and Stocking repeatedly gasp in shock.

Trivia[]
It is revealed that the king's halo can shapeshift depending on who wears it.
Stocking getting more votes than Panty in the heavenly approval rating is a reference to the fact that Stocking is more popular than Panty within the series' fanbase.
One of the easter eggs Hiromi Wakabayashi notes to look out for in the official art for the Shopping Circuit wave of merchandise is the king's crown halo accessory on Polyurethane's beret.[1]
The three episodes included in the Heaven Wars arc were showcased in their "Zach Snyder's cut" version which had a special screening in theaters on December 24, 2025.[2]
Continuity[]
This episode takes place several days after "The Part-time Job Before Christmas" because that episode took place on Christmas Eve, and this episode takes place shortly before New Year's Day. Their upcoming trip to Lingerie Land and Brief's plans to profess his love to Panty are also referenced.
While Heaven has been mentioned numerous times throughout the series, this is the first time Heaven is actually shown.
In the English dub, Ramie says "Time to rock out with our cocks out!" before strumming his electric guitar, which is a callback to a line that Panty said in the English dub of "The Diet Syndrome".
When Gunsmith Bitch surprises Brief with Chuck inside the paper bag, he excitedly claims "It's Brief and Chuck together again!", a reference to "Being Chuck Maldehole" and "Panty and Stocking: Homecoming".
Panty saying "Get in, loser. We're going to Heaven." is a reference to an iconic line from the 2004 film Mean Girls.
Garterbelt, Scanty, Kneesocks, Linière, and Silk being encased in boxes is a reference to the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back, when Han Solo is entombed in carbonate.
Errors[]
Scanty's missing left horn.
As Garterbelt announces Linière's request to the four girls, Scanty's left horn is not visible.
When the protagonists arrive at Heaven, Stocking is seen carrying Honekoneko, but after the Poly Brothers enter the scene, Honekoneko disappears for the remainder of the episode.
Brief claims that only dead (humans) can get into Heaven, when this is not entirely true, as he has seen Garterbelt be allowed through the gates earlier.
