"Lord of The Kokan The Great" (ロード・オブ・ザ・コカン・ザ・グレート, Rōdo obu za Kokan za Gurēto) is the twenty-third episode of New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT and the fifty-first overall episode of the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt series. It first aired on September 10, 2025.
Synopsis[]
Long before the dawn of civilization, a warrior whose homeland has been burned sets out on a journey of revenge.
Plot[]
Garterbelt discusses the human tendency of conflict and leads the viewer into the episode.

In a destroyed village, a little girl sobs for a recently-deceased relative and begins her quest to avenge him. Many years later, the girl, who has become muscled, is in the midst of battling a large green beast when she gains sudden assistance from a dinosaur. After they kill the beast, they spot a large cloud of smoke from afar.
The smoke originates from a two-headed demon who has kept the citizens of the village in fear. Just as one of her soldiers was about to kill an innocent elf, the warrior bursts onto the scene and kills multiple soldiers with her axe. She encounters the demon and, remembering her relative's death, tries to kill the demon, but she escapes by utilizing a magic egg. The warrior then kills all of the soldiers before hitting the elf with her axe, knocking him unconscious.
When he wakes up, he finds himself chained to the warrior. After telling her where the demon went, the warrior, the elf, and the dinosaur embark on a long voyage to find and slay the demon once and for all. On their way, the warrior kills many foes and has sex with women. Late into their journey, she leaves the elf behind, much to his disappointment.

The warrior and her dragon finally enter the cave in which the demon is situated, but not before she had been enveloped by a yellow liquid and transformed into a massive two-headed dragon. This does not deter the warrior, and she begins her battle with the demon. However, her axe is destroyed after she uses it to hit one of the demon's heads.
The dragon tries to protect her, but she is bitten and eventually killed by the other head of the demon. With the odds seemingly stacked against her, the warrior utilizes the dragon's corpse to protect herself from the demon's beam blast and ultimately kill the demon, thus succeeding in her mission of revenge.
Garterbelt asks the viewer if the tale reminds them of valor or blood-stained revenge before the VHS tape of the episode glitches out. Frustrated, Garterbelt punches the TV, causing the tape to fly into the camera and break it.

- This episode and the preceding one form an anthology of vignettes telling stories out of the rest of the show’s continuity with the main cast in different roles.
- This is the second time Panty is seen trying to have sex with a woman, only this time she is successful.
- This would also be the first time Panty has taken the role of penetration in sex.
Cultural references[]
- The outfit Brief wears is a reference to the outfit that Princess Leia wore in the 1983 film Return of the Jedi when she was captured by Jabba the Hutt.
- The episode title is a combination of the fantasy films and its Japanese titles The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, known in Japan as "Lord of the Ring" (ロード・オブ・ザ・リング, Rōdo obu za Ringu) and Conan the Barbarian, known in Japan as "Conan the Great" (コナン・ザ・グレート, Konan za Gurēto).
- The title card is a parody of the 1973 painting Death Dealer by American artist Frank Frazetta.
- Garterbelt's narration at the start and end is a reference to the 1969 anthology series Night Gallery.
- The warrior holding Medusa's head after decapitating her is a reference to the 1981 film Clash of the Titans.
- One scene during the montage parodies Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, complete with a character resembling Voldemort getting decapitated by the warrior.
- The scene where the warrior has sex with a witch that transforms into a demon before executing her mirrors a scene in Conan the Barbarian where a similar thing happens.
- It also mirrors the introduction scene in Berserk, where Guts intentionally performs a similar act to a succubus to catch her off-guard.
- The "twin snakes" sigil used to represent Scanty and Kneesocks is also highly evocative of the sigil of the cult of Set from that film.
