The PKE Meter is a back-mounted sensor array which measures psychokinetic energy (PKE). It is able to detect ghosts, as well as shoot smokescreens. Brief owns one of these. The PKE Meter was first featured in "The Turmoil of the Beehive". He uses this later on in "Panty + Brief" to save Panty from Scanty and Kneesocks. It is used again by him in Panty and Stocking: Homecoming to collect all of Panty's fragments after she was sliced in 666 pieces by a brainwashed Stocking.

- In the English dub of the series, Brief's PKE Meter is referred to as a Proton Pack, which it bears a resemblance to.
